My son's car was flooded to the dash for approximately an hour. I've called several repair shops and no one wants to work on it. Therefore, I am trying to get it running again. I have done an oil change, transmission fluid change and replaced the spark plugs. It is cranking but does not run. What do I do next?

Hi gh18,

When water gets up to the dash, a lot of components would be damaged and that is the reason nobody wants to work on it.

First thing you need to do is to get the interior dried up.

Next thing to do is to get the PCM and other electrical components replaced. The PCM should have been shorted out when you attempted to start the engine.

Start with the PCM and progress to others when you have the engine up and running. Sensors for starting such as crank sensors etc have to be cleaned and dried up as well.
