My car is giving me a P1259 code. When under load it shudders when downshifing from 4 ot 3 or upshifting from 3 to 4. any suggestions?

Hello,
The P1259 code is for the VTECH oil pressure switch or VTECH solenoid valve circuit fault.
Sometimes resetting the ECM will reset the VTECH switch/solenoid.
DTC P1259: A problem in the VTEC Oil Pressure Switch circuit or VTEC Solenoid Valve circuit.
I have attached (look below) the diagnostics for that code. This should help you determine where the issue is. This process will require you to use a multimeter to check various measurements.
