I recently got into an accident that caused my driver side airbag to deploy. I am wondering what I can expect the repair shop to charge to repair/replace this.

That is pricey. Anything to do with SRS is expensive. That comes out of the seat if I am not mistaken. It does on the 2000 model. I actually don't like that side bag. When it deployed on my son's 2000, that was why there was an injury in the accident. The occupant got hurt by the bag. Estimate was over $1000 to have the work done right and seat replaced.
