Electrical problem
1999 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 138500 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
on 3 separate occasions, I have been driving over 60mph and my car will turn off, loose power completely, all lights come on, telling me car is "off" - and then within 2 seconds it restarts itself, without me having to turn the key or put it on "park";
I have no "check engine" nor "maintenance repair" light on, and other than having that "oh, shoot" 2second moment, everything else seems to be working fine. I called a 3 mechanics and possibilities where: 1) crank switch - 2) distributor 3) fuel pump sensor in the gas tank?

please help; thank you in advance

sounds to me like your crank position sensor may be faulty. even though your light isnt on you can go to autozone and just tell them you have an intermittent engine light could they please scan your engine. and have them check any "freeze frame" codes. write back with the codes either way
