What would cause the engine to just quit as I am driving? When I pull over, it starts right up again. It only happens occasionally, and I do not know the reason. I have cleaned the battery terminals and checked wire connections, but it happened again today.

Could be a bad distruibutor, main relay, ignition switch, etc. Anything noticeable when the car shuts off?

You have to see what is missing when the car shuts off. Fuel, spark, or timing is what it is end up being. Should have a fuel gauge hooked up, spark tester, and also check for codes.
