Hi, here is my problem. I recently got a Honda Accord, 1998 EX VTEC with ca emission ULEV engine.
I have recently changed the in tank fuel filter, the distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and both O2 sensors. What happens is that when I drive the car cold it runs fine, but if I pull over and turn off the car for anything less than about 20 minutes, when I drive off it starts to sputter. When I say sputter, I mean it sort of stalls a few times with a jerking sensation as if it's not getting any fuel. But it does not shut off. If I turn the car off and it cools off for at least thirty minutes, it's back to normal. It has no problem starting, just the lagging and sputtering. Also, I have read the code and it reads P1167. Any ideas?

What kind of sensor did you put in? Did you use a generic one?

Regarding the sensor, it's a generic one. The OEM one was a lot more expensive. It may have been worth the extra money.
