I have this problem with my honda accord 1998 it has a mileage of 79000. I started the engine and I find it difficult to start. When I switch on the engine the usual sound extends a bit more. Then after an hour drive it dies.

Hi tetgf,

When engine stalled after 1 hour, were you able to restart?
Does the dash lights show at that time?

When it was difficult to start, did you check if there was spark at the plugs?
Have you tested the fuel pressure?
