1997 Honda Accord It keep shocking me!

1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 167000 miles

every time I get out of my car it shocks me, but only me. When I took it to a mechanic it did not shock him. Why? I just bought it in December and it's in a pretty good condition.

Hi there,
Now this is shocking. Lol but seriously, it may be the type of clothes you wear shoes or just that your more prone to static discharge, best thing to do is get a rubber anti static strap attached to the under side of the car this discharges static to ground, *this is what you feel as a shock when you touch the car you make a path to earth for the static
