1997 Honda Accord Fan running after car is shut off

The fan on my car can run quie awhile after I have shut off the vehicle. Is this normal?

Hi nanjah88,

The vehicle is equipped with a system that would turn the fans on if the coolant temperature is high when engine is turned off.

This is normal if it does not occur everytime and you do not have overheating or coolant losses.
