How do I unplug the AC drain line? Condensate is draining into the car on the front passenger side just behind the firewall.
We have had the line "blown out" before and that fixes the problem - at least temporarily, which is fine. Can you explain how to "blow out" the drain line to remove whatever is clogging it?

Thank you.

Hi Bert,

The condensation drain hose is connected to the lower part of the evaporator and goes out through the firewall on passenger side. To completely clean the hose, disconnect it and pull it out from the engine compartment. You can access it from under the passenger side by pulling up the carpet. Space is rather limited and water might drain into the cabin so get some rags to absorb the water if necessary. The ECM is just below it so do not let water get to it.

After pulling out hose, clean it throughly by squeezing it with running water through it to clear any dirt inside.

Use something to probe the evaporator connector for the hose to clear any dirt inside it.

Reinstall with the hose pointing downwards and ensure it is secure and does not leak.
