Cold morning my car has slight problems starting. After pumping the throttle and holding the ignition it starts. How do I check the choke and where is it located? Another problem I'm having is short loss of power. Usually only when I shift to second gear. Just recently my car would just completly shut off while driving. The cel has never came on. There was a little corrosion on the terminals but since I've cleaned them it seems to be running better so far. Is there another way I can check for electrical problems without a mechanic or a computer?

There is no choke on fuel injection vehicles.

That job on your vehicle is left to the fast idle thermo valve (underneath the throttle body) and idle air control valve (back of intake manifold). Try servicing the two valves first.
