My car is overheating lately. It is not a slow process, it just suddenly spikes up. All coolant levels were normal before my beginner troubleshooting. Here is what I have checked and what happens.

1. Radiator not leaking(radiator 2 years old w/ lifetime warranty)\
2. Radiator top around cap didnt really get that hot
2. Upper radiator hose gets hot.
3. Lower remains cold.
4. Both fans working normally
5. During overheating, noticed that just under and behind distributor cap there was some gargling and then is started to smoke(white) (between cap and thermostat).
6. Oil is normal and not milky
7. Afterwards coolant tank almost empty but was full before. I just assume this is from burnoff.

Please help and thanks in advance

Sounds like a stuck thermostat. The lower hose goes to the t-stat on Hondas. After you replace it, look for a bleeder on top of or near the top of the t-stat housing (12 mm bolt head) open it while filling coolant system to purge air out
