Hoping you guys could give me an idea where to start. While driving my car at around 50mph I hit a curb and blew out two tires. I have replaced the tires but now the car will not move. It starts and appears to be operating perfectly but it will not grab a single gear and operates as if stuck in neutral. Where should I start looking. All fluids seem to be fine btw. Thanks.

When you hit the curb you may have damaged the half shaft. The c/v joints are part of this shaft. Sounds like the c/v joint is broken. If so it's better and easier to replace the whole half shaft, and with 289000 miles you mine-as-well replace both of them. Keep me posted.
