hi,
i just bought my first manual trans car and when shifting into gears(all 5) seem to slip and the engine has high RPMs of 4000-5000 upon shifting and the car moves slow at first then the RPMS go down and the car picks up speed. would this be a worn clutch? or is this normal?

Hi there,

You say that you have not driven a manual for some time, how is your clutch to throttle co ordernation? Do you have someone you know who drives a manual? maybe get them to take it for a drive and if they have the same problem i would say the clutch is starting to slip.
