1986 Holden Commodore auto problems

1986 Holden Commodore 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when i bought the car the downshifted at the slightest touch of the accelerator and rarely shifted into the overdrive gear and when it did it made the car viabrate i since changed the auto with one that i knew was in perfect working order but my problems still exist

Start with a scan and check for any unresolved fault codes, if any codes are logged, clear and re drive and re test again, report your findings here.
