problem turning off car, linkage buggered attached pic explains it all. thanks in advance.

You can see the linkage broken which will need to be fixed, the picture is not very clear can you upload more pics of the area? It looks like you will need to drill the broken part out to remove it and then get a new control rod to fix the issue. This video will show you how to get the broken piece out, the application is different, but the process is the same:
