engine has high idle?

When I start the truck in the morning, especially when it's cold or cool, it acts as if it has a stuck choke, I know EFI doesn't have a choke. so where should I look? After I let it warm up some and turn it off then restart, it idles down as it should.

It sounds like you might be having an issue with the IAC - idle air control motor. Here are 2 tutorials for you to view relating to IAC motor cleaning and replacement:
