My car is single handed but I purchased resale car three years back. Whenever I press the accelerator then car giving loud sound, RPM increased but speed is less than earlier. While climbing up hill second or third gear also not possible to move. It feels like lots of load in car and car loses power and unable to climb. Recently I changed with new clutch plate, pressure plate and clutch bearing. But now power feels a lot less. Please inform the reasons behind this so I will take it with garage.

Hey SAYYADSAMEER,

Do you have the check engine light on?

If so please follow the guide below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Please give us the codes if you have any stored.

Did you replace the clutch for this issue and no change? or has the lack of power been since you replaced the clutch?

If it is only since the clutch replacement i would ensure all electrical connector that were unplugged are plugged back in. If any of the air intake was removed i would check everything is fitted correctly and tight.

How would you describe the noise?

Regards, Joe
