My truck has a straight six cylinder engine and it recently developed this problem to where its runs too rough or rich and I can only get about half throttle before it starts to bog down and almost stall, also when I am coming to a stop I will take it out of gear and coast to the light or stop sign and when that happens the engine almost stalls and I can hear it just revving erratically.

I changed the distributor cap and spark plugs, air and fuel filter and the throttle position senor.

I am about to look at the oxygen sensor but I want to find out if someone else has any advice before I start pouring money into it.

Scan for trouble codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first auto parts rent it. See link. Also use jumper for getting codes which is left hand front near firewall.

Well I tried to do the KOER test and got some faults but they might have been a mistake. One thing that stood out was a solenoid failure and EGR failure. I replaced the whole unit not too long ago. I'm having trouble finding workshops that will check OBD 1, there is one place that does but they want $125 and i'm not looking to spend that much on a check but I might have to if I cant get anywhere.

I have not checked the fuel pressure yet, I will try that.
