Previous owner bypassed heater core or heater control valve. There are two hoses that contain fluid which are located to the right and down of the heater control valve. There are also two hoses beneath the heater control valve. However the one on the right looks as if it had been cut at an angle. I just need to know where the hoses are supposed to go. There are also two places for hoses to go on the heater control valve. Please help!

Hello,

The heater control valve hose goes to the engine and then the heater core. The other heater hose goes directly to the heater core. If the hoses are the same size then it does not mater which hose is the inlet or outlet.

Please let us know what you find so it will help others.

Best, Ken
