The passenger side front tire would knock when making left turns. The other night while driving the front passenger tire was making a knocking noise while driving and then all of a sudden I heard a loud pop and that tire started wobbling and the steering wheel started shaking and moving left to right. There was a loud knocking and scrapping sound.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Unfortunately, something like that needs to be diagnosed by physical inspection. It definitely sounds suspension related but your vehicle will need to be put up on a hoist and thoroughly inspected. Here a few tutorials for you to get a basic idea:

If I had to make a guess I would think maybe a ball joint is suspect. If you're going to have the car inspected and don't feel safe driving it/or causing more damage I would suggest having it towed to a shop. Most repair shops offer a free inspection.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
