Hello,

There is a button that releases the headrest, located at the base of the headrests.
You will first have to remove the plastic bezel on the top of the seat that is around the headrest shaft. Then you will see a small button that can be pressed to release the headrests.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

There is no button or any escutcheon on these headrests, they don’t move up and down. That’s why I can’t get them out. They are on rods like a normal part, but do not move. I want them out, because when the seat backs are down, they interfere with the front seats. They do swivel, I don’t know why, lol.

The button should be under the trim, located at the base of the shafts.

I’m reading the manual for the car that the head restraints in the rear seat are not able to be removed. But I figured they should put them in, so there must be a way to get them out.
