My driver side headlight lens is severely cracked and needs to be replaced. I have removed the two bolts on the top and removed the bulb, but I cannot figure out how to get the headlight assembly to come out. I read something about having to take the bumper cover off for a 2007 Ford Escape, but was not sure how to do that or if I had to on my 2009 Mercury Mariner. Please HELP! Thank you!

the fascia has to come off. Try pulling one side away far enough to reach headlight bolts and nut.
