Head unit replacement

I am wanting to replace my head unit with a touch screen unit that has a navigation system and Bluetooth. I am not sure whether I can replace it, as where the new headset will be placed, the main control knob that controls the notifications about engine temperature, and weather warnings will have to be removed. Is there a unit I can buy that will be able to control the upper screen that is in my car?

It sounds like you have one of the vehicles with no upgrade path. Not uncommon with modern vehicles and the way they have integrated all the systems. One method used in some cases is to mount the factory controls or displays in another location. I don't recommend any aftermarket items that purport to connect to the vehicles networking to operate the factory installed parts. I have seen far too many that caused problems because they were sending false data.
