Grinding or screeching noise at stop in reverse

It makes a grinding noise when in reverse as you are stopping and the lights dim for a second, also did it once in drive (sounds like when the starter hits the flywheel noise).
Any help?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

If the lights are dimming, it sounds like the alternator belt is loose and squealing allowing the alternator to slow enough to dim the lights.

Check the condition of the serpentine belt. Make sure it is tight.
