When I back up while turning I hear a lot of grinding, rubbing, pop and clicking sound from rear end. I was told differential is bad. When I pulled rear drums off I found a lot of brake dust. I rebuilt rear brakes (even wheel cylinders) and new brake drums. The noise went away. Not even 5000 miles after brake rebuild sick noise if back?? I notice there is no hole at bottom of back plate to let dust escape. However I have never heard this kind of noise before from just brake dust accumulation.
Please help

pull the back plate off of rear end and look for broken pieces if a posi unit then change oil and put additive in from a dealer.
