Hi,
That sounds like a bad wheel hub bearing. When you turn right, the weight distribution changes placing more of a load on the left side. Do you notice any other sounds like a howling when driving?
I suspect it is the hub bearing. I don't have the ST 225 model listed; however, here are directions for one with the 2.3L; The attached pics correlate with the directions. It should be very similar.

Removal
1. Remove the wheel knuckle.
2. Remove the circlip from the wheel knuckle.
3. NOTE: After the wheel hub is removed from the knuckle, the wheel bearing must be discarded. The bearing inner ring will remain in the wheel knuckle.
Using the special tools, remove the wheel hub and outer bearing race.

4. CAUTION: The special tools must be used to prevent damage to the hub. If the hub is damaged, a new hub must be installed.
CAUTION: Do not use heat to remove the bearing inner ring.
Using the special tools, remove the bearing inner ring from the wheel hub.

5. To aid in removal of the bearing outer ring, install the bearing cage onto the inner ring and install the assembly into the wheel knuckle.
6. Using the special tools, remove the bearing outer ring from the wheel knuckle.

Installation
CAUTION: Avoid any impact on the wheel speed sensor ring.
CAUTION: Make sure the wheel speed sensor ring is clean.
CAUTION: Do not allow the wheel speed sensor ring to contact any magnetic surfaces.
1. CAUTION: Make sure the wheel bearing is installed into the wheel knuckle with the wheel speed sensor ring, colored black, at the wheel speed sensor end of the wheel knuckle.
Using the special tools, install the new wheel bearing to the wheel knuckle.

2. Using the special tools, install the wheel hub into the wheel knuckle.

3. NOTE: Make sure the circlip does not cover the wheel speed sensor.
Install the circlip into the wheel knuckle.
4. Install the wheel knuckle.
