Took my truck to Munroe to have breaks looked at, they said I needed new rotors and pads. Price was out of this world so I told them I would do it myself. On the way home I noticed a slight grinding on the front right side. I thought maybe they didn't get the pads seated and might be grinding on rotor. I got everything this week and did a complete break job to include replacing the rotors front and back. Took it out for a test drive and noticed the grinding still there turning left. So I thought it was the Hub and Bearing assy, so I replaced the right front hub & bearing assy. Another test drive and still grinding. I have gone over the entire front end and nothing is touching or grinding that I can see What am I missing, what else other then a bad bearing that could cause the grinding?

Note: I have lifted and checked the tire for movement side to side and top to bottom, no movement. I also spun the tire and can not get the noise to repeat its self at anytime with the tire in the air and no loadon the front end.

Hi there,

have you spun that wheel in the air, can you hear anything then? Check that the backing plate is not touching the rotor, start here.

Is this noise in 2 wheel drive or 4 WD, I ask this a we do not have these cars here and I am unsure if it is a constant 4X4 or transfer select transmission.
