My anti-lock brakes pulse prior to stopping when the road is not slippery - or as if there is a slippery surface when it isn't.

Is there something obvious-e.G. A disconnected wire or something?

Has the ABS light come on? Also, check the sensors at each wheel. Chances are one is damaged or disconnected.

Check closely for damage to the wiring going to the sensors. I've seen many that were rubbed through or broken. Also, I will assume you made sure the brake fluid is full.

Has the ABS light ever come on? If not, there may be a problem with the computer. You may want to have the computer scanned even though the light hasn't come on. Most parts stores will do it for free.
