1997 GMC Truck Water coming from drain port

Why would water draining from drain port onto the ground from truck? Is it supposed to ?

you should relaly clarify which drain port. No it's not supposed to drain from the a/c drain if that is what you are talkin bout. If it is the color of antifreeze you need a new heater core. If it is the color of water, then it may just be the a/c draining the water out like it is supposed to do.
