are they a vaccume line that hooks to the pressure regulator or is the whole intake the vacume

the vaccum line goes the regulator right off the manifold pressure. this is used to give more fuel to the engine with low manifold vaccum because the vehicle is runnin gat a higher speed needing more fuel. and it shuts back down with low vaccum as the engien doesnt need much gas anymore.
