1997 GMC Sierra Ext Cab Z71, 125,000 miles 5.8 Liter V8. How do I replace the stabilizer bar link? I found and bought a kit which included a bolt, nut, sleeve and some various bushings, but there are no instructions. Nor have I been unable to locate a manual which describes this procedure. The library had a Chilton for various models that year, but it did not include the Sierra or anything that closely resembled this part. Are there any special tools needed?

if you put a socket over the nut on the threaded end and rock it back and forth, it will snap off, or see if it will unscrew! the links connect the sway bar to the lower control arms, undo both sides then put em both together by hand before tightening!
