Electrical problem
2000 GMC Sierra V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 194K miles

the error code that comes up on the OBD hand scanner says manufactuer control, according to what you have listed says oxygen sensor bank 2 #1 which is the sensor that I replaced,(upstream) with a boch#13193 back in May part came from advanced auto, is there possibly a different sensor that it might be, or just a defective part

this code usually indicates a faulty oxygen sensor but it may be a component related to the sensor, not the sensor itself. since the sensor was replaced, check for faults with the air intake duct, check for leaks on the throttle body and intake manifold, exhaust leaks, vacuum hose leaks all of these can cause this same trouble code to appear.
