I had all plugs and plug wires replaced. Pcv replaced.
The problem is the check engine light is on and reading #5 cylinder not firing. The truck runs but performance is weak. Please help.

If the compression is good then your problem is a sticking fuel injector. You can try to have a shop run high pressure fuel injection cleaner through the injectors to try to free it up or you will have to replace the injector assembly. Hope this helps

A misfire in a specific cylinder should lead you to check the spark plug, fuel injector and compression.

Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.

Well I know it isn't plugs or plug wires. Just had them replaced. Will check EGR and injectors. Any more help would be appreciated! Thanks
