Thats sound to me that it needs a wheel alignment, alot of times ball joints and tie rods are fine but your alignment can be off a bit I would take it to get alligned somewhere reputalble and they will be able to tell you if there is something wrong. If there's a sears near you with a tire shop they usually do allignment they're pretty good they have a digital system that they do it with. I hope that this info helps you out.
