You can reppair this yourself if you want to pull the gas tank off. You'll need to see if you are getting power to the guage wire first. If you are, it will be a low voltage blinking light and you grund it and if your gauge goes up then the sender is bad. If it does nothing then the guage is bad. But to replace the sender you'll have to pull the tank to get it out. It's not easy but can be done at home.
