Fuel Pump

How do you know the fuel pump has gone out? What type of sound does it make?

well if your fuel pump is bad it wont make any noise.... usually when you turn your ignition on you will hear like a whirring noise if its working correctly it will be coming from in or near your fuel tank. To see if it is the fuel pump take a rubber mallet and strike your fuel tank in the middle firmly; not as to puncture it ; while someone else trys to turn the engine over if this is the case replace it as soon as possible you dont want to do this more than a few times. hope that helps
