I need to know were the fuel pump reset button, or the pump test wire, I have did some research and found that there is a test wire somewhere by the fuse box, but I can not find it, the truck ran good untill last week when the fuel pump stopped working, I replaced it and it is still not working, new relay, I ran a hot wire to pump and pump works, even the old one, but no power at the harness, the harness plugs up good, it is not loose or burnt. I am lost can you please help me. Thanx mike d.

No power to new fuel pump, fuses are good, relay good, car turns over, Is there a shut off switch in case of an accident that could be bad and if so, where is it located? Or could it just be the computer? If it would be the computer, what else should we expect to not to working?

The fuel pump will come on for only 2secs when you turn the key On. Power the gray wire at the fuel pump and see if it'll come on

Hello,

This vehicle does not have a fuel cutoff switch. There is a fuel pump relay though here is the location below and a guide to help test it.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hello again.

Have you checked the fuel pump relay? Here is a tutorial showing how to test a relay:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

I've attached pictures below on how to remove and replace the fuel pump relay and its location. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Already did that and it keeps on catching on fire. It's like the fuel pump isn't getting no power.

If you mean the relay is burning up then it is likely that the pump itself has failed or the harness is shorted and dumping a lot of current through the relay. To test for that you would need to drop the tank and unplug the pump, if it still has a problem then you will need to trace the harness looking for damage or corrosion.

Hello again.

I agree on checking the fuel pump harness. It might have a shorted wire somewhere. I've attached a fuel system wiring diagram below for you. I've curt the pictures in half so you can view larger. Let us know if you have any further questions on this issue after you test the wiring. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
