On my 1998 gmc jimmy when I turn my ac on and or heat when I would put it to like the floor vents or window defrosters no matter were I put it air comes out everywere through every ac vent, what should I do?

It sounds like the controls are going bad. I had this happen in mine it will eventually only work when it wants to then stop working all together. When mine went out I got a used one from a junk yard it wasn't expensive at all and took just over a half hour to change.
