My check engine light came on today and when connected to a diagnostics system the code 0410 secondary air injection system malfunction. Is this something we can fix on our own? Can it be just one thing or could it be multiple things wrong? How much would parts cost to fix?

The most common problem on these is the secondary air injection solenoid valve gets moisture inside the valve and causes rust to build up in the valve causing it to not open/close. This is a very common problem, but before you replace anything you should the air system tested. Usually by a good scan tool or tech 2. So you can make sure that is the problem.I do not know how much the part will cost, and yes it is something you can fix yourself.
