2002 gmc envoy problems

I have a couple of problems 1. the keyless entry system has quit working, I have bought a new key fob and programmed it with no luck. I have checked the rear wiper and it still works as well as the passenger side window so I am out of what I have found to check. 2. the envoy has dual climate controls, the passenger side air now just blows air that is the same temp as outside air.

sounds like it could be a BCM problem

what is BCM? And is it something that I can change?
