When using the intermittent windshield wiper function, the wipre blades vibrate across the windshield and sometimes momentarily stop entirely.
using the other windshield wiper speeds, the wipers work normally

There are several components of the wiper system that can cause one or more of the wiper modes to fail. Some people would rather just throw money at it and replace every part until it is fixed. I try to save people's money though by giving them test steps. I have posted the first step in diagnosing your problem...let me know how this turns out...
