2006 GMC Canyon Fan not working properly

2006 GMC Canyon Four Wheel Drive Automatic 10100 miles

My fan for the ventilation is not working correctly. I have replaced the relay twice and it still doesn't work all the time. If I drive the truck and for instance turn it off at the store for a couple of minutes then start it again the fan wont work at all. Then it will start working sometime later. Sometimes tapping on the relay will make it work. As far as I know the motor for the fan is still good.

have a pro check your underhood electrical center and see if one of the wires have come out of place that connect to the relay. It may just need to be removed then reinstalled, the top part as it may have come undone.....
