Misfire in #3 cylinder

My check engine light came on and the diagonstic reading said that there was a misfire in the 3rd cylinder so I changed spark pliugs and wires and still it reads a misfire in the 3rd cylinder, what else can be done to fix the problem. 1999 chevy express van G1500 5.7. 95,000 mi.
