my truck is very slow taking fuel keeps turning off thepump

If you follow the filler tube, you will see a smaller hose. It is a vent that allows air to exit the tank as fuel enters. Check it to make sure it isn't damaged or blocked. If it is, fuel will enter the tank very slowly.
