THE NOISE IS MOST LIKELEY A PINION BEARING
IF IT IS A HIGH PITCH SOUND UNDER POWER
& QUITS WHEN YOU LET OFF. ALTHOUGH THE EXT.
CAB OR LWB HAS A DRIVESHAFT BEARING. THAT I HAVE SEEN (RARE) THAT WILL MIMMICK THE SAME
SOUND. MOT GM 10 BOLT REARENDS 88 UP ARE JUNK, SO MORE THAN LIKELEY IT IS THE PINION
BEARING. MOST SHOPS WILL RE-BUILD THE REAR END IN ANY GEAR RATIO FOR ABOUT $900 W/WARRANTY WHEN A TYPICAL SALVAGE YARD
REAR END IS ABOUT THE SAME PRICE W/ A30 DAY
WARRANTY.
