1987 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 Series ZLH 5.0 Engine

Throttle Body, Fuel injected, Vehicle designed for Principal use at low Altitude.

I live in North Eastern Pa. And the problem is that it Stalls when coming to a stop. Stalls when put in gear and also stalls at idle, other than this it runs great.

There is no idle adjustment, but I replaced the idle air control valve and it didn't solve the problem.
I'm really puzzled at what I can do to try and fix this problem, if you have any suggestions I sure would like to hear them.

Start with the EGR and fuel pressure then comeback

I checked both the egr and fuel pressure and both are working properly. I put the truck in gear and it cuts out. Don't know where else to check to find out why it does this. It still cuts out when slowing down to a stop for a stop sign.
