Changed battery, spark plugs and wires, fuel filter. Car always ran fine, then its started shutting off and idling weird lately when coming to a stop. Does not do it all the time. Son drives to school fifteen minutes each way every day no problem, have to make a longer trip then car messes up. Either I let the car rest or rev it up let the idle settle then it runs fine again.

When battery is disconnected the memory of the ECM learned value is erased. It most probably is the idling system running erratically. Have the throttle cleaned and retest.

Car was having issues before I changed battery and fuel filter. The car runs fine until it warms up about a half hour or so then car starts to sputter and shuts off. But it is random when it happens.

Is the Malfunction Indicator Light showing?
Have you ever had vehicle scanned for trouble codes?
I would still recommend getting the throttle body cleaned if it had not be done before.
