Hi,
This vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try to help.
What you described is a common issue when the clutch doesn't disengage the transmission. Chances are, the clutch on your vehicle is hydraulic. So, check under the hood near where the clutch pedal push rod goes through the firewall for a small reservoir and make sure it is full. If it is, then there is a good chance that either the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder has failed.
Check for that and let me know what you find. I attached a pic that shows what a clutch master cylinder looks like in general. I'm not 100% sure yours will be exactly the same.
Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe
