The gauges will drop to zero, the service vehicle soon and security lights will turn on?

The odometer and shift indicators work fine though.

Hi,

This can be an issue with the instrument cluster, body control module, or a wiring issue. What we need to do is scan the can-bus to see if there are codes specific to this issue.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing it.

Here is a link showing how it is done:

I'm suggesting this because without doing it, the repair will become a guessing game. That can become expensive. If there are codes retrieved, I can help you focus on the problem area identified.

Let me know your thoughts and if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
